WELCOME to this NEW International Community.
This site is designed to encourage humanity to work together as a people. This NEW focus on global cooperation based on our shared interests will solve the world’s problems and create the kind of positive world that we all know in our hearts is possible.
Call to Action
A SPECIAL WELCOME to those that have joined us recently.
I managed to find the time to make a lot of updates to the social media channels this week. There are now 15 channels linked into the site.
What does this mean?
Effectively this means that when any of us post a new article, video, quote or topic of interest on the site, it can also be sent out through 15 different social media channels – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Medium, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Reddit, Xing, Flikr, VKontakte, Bloglovin, Diigo and Torial. As one of the funder’s of the site, I would also be happy to financially promote some of these submissions to help get things started.
The obvious benefit is that we can now start to get this important message out to more people so that they too can also begin to appreciate how much the world can phenomenally improve by making the simple decision to work together.
Further down the line, the goal is to do a LOT MORE – T-Shirts, Mugs, Public Talks, Meetups, Partnerships with other groups…you name it. WE WILL DO IT!
Would you be interested in managing one of these social media channels?
How much time you put into the channel would be up to you. There are no expectations. Just do what you think is right.
This has to be a team effort. Working together towards our shared goals means that ideally we each contribute where we can. If you are interested, just drop me a message via the site.
The latest update from one of our third-party developers about the article image bug which needs to be fixed, is that they are waiting for a new update before addressing it. WordPress ver 5.0 with the Gutenburg core update – which is a major update for WordPress – is virtually upon us. It will totally change the front-end editing tools, including the image feature that relates to the bug.
However – I should stress that this image setting does actually work! The bug is simply that it does not ‘retain’ the image filename if you keep saving the article form details over and over. In other words, the easy workaround for now is to simply write the article first. Upload the Image that you want to use. Then publish the article to the site.
If you visit the articles page, you will see that 3 articles which were written a few months ago are already on the site.
I’ll keep you posted when this bug has been fixed.
